Under Hood Rattling

I have a 1996 Sierra 4.3L V6 and this used to only occur when the engine was cold, but has recently been continuously occuring even when the engine is warm. It sounds like the harmonic balancer, but I think it could possibly be something else. It only happens when the transmission is in drive, and the brake is applied. Once it is placed in park, the noise stops. I'm stumped...any suggestions?
