what performance chip to use on the 262 ci (4.3)

hey i have a 1995 gmc c1500 2wd with the v6 4.3l half vortec (tbi injection w/ vortec heads) what performance chip would be suggested ? its a year to early for programmers but i just need something that will spice her up a bit

Westers can do custom ecm programing for Gm trucks 87 and up, depending on application its a chip, computer or an actually handheld unit.

just have a quick look at this order form, give em a call or send an e-mail, they can help you out...

how about a plug in jet chip ? why not one of those stump?

Quick plug in...instant noticable stock modification....

What are you hoping to achieve?
Generic chips provide nominal advantages.

stump did you get westers to do yours i was told by them that a plug in chip doesnt do much they said by them programming the chip it can make a diffrence

They want to "tune" yours so they can get "PAID"

Buying a jet chip only makes small changes...they were truthful with that.
And they CAN make it sweet without buying a different chip for sure...$400 plus dollars.

I guess your wants and the money you want to spend is the issue...

Want fast and kinda cheap results, by a jet chip, but keep in mind you might want to have that one tuned anyway. So if you think that you will not be happy with only a little noticable difference, get the westers tune.

Thats MY 2 cents at least..
