glad to hear. lower numerically, the higher the gear. higher the number, the lower the gears. 4.56 is a good stepdown but hard to tell you if a good selection for you without knowing a few things such as powerplant, tire size, and tranny. all play an important role in gear selection.
ragos drawing is great. also think of it in the aspect of machine thread bolts. you can apply alot more torque to a machine thread that a standard due to the amount of threads. alot harder to pull 40 or 50 threads rather than 10 or 20 depending on bolt size.

Yea I figured so, I just need to know more about it if im gonna look into modifications involving that stuff. Presently my truck is in no condition for any muddin' or such, but I'm gettin there!
