sporadic miss '91 GMC with '92 350 misses sometimes when it is started. May miss for 1 to 3 miles so bad it will hardly go up a hill. I put new plugs, cap, rotor, coolant temperature sensor on. Wires are good. Sometimes it starts and runs great. Never misses when a mechanic or tech is around. I'm wondering about the ignition module or pick-up coil. Any ideas?

check for vacuum leaks sparay soapy water on plug wires, watch for cracking noise. spray carb cleaner on vacuum lines and gaskets, if it bogs from some area - you got your culprit. definitely clean EGR and PCV.

I had a few of those trucks in my fleet. Question is what does the intake look like and is it Throttle Bottle Injected. Other is, any codes coming up.
