I seriously doubt it. If you really really want to know you can tape a gauge to the windshield and test drive it but I suspect you'll see the pressure hold or increase a bit since you've got 60 PSI at idle.

I would suspect the throttle position sensor first. Give it the back-probe test.

Verify that with the key on, engine off that it (the TPS) reads from about 0.5 volts to 4.5 volts as you move from closed to open throttle. There are three wires going to this sensor one is always 5 volts one is ground and the last one (it's the middle one) is the one you want to back probe.

Have you checked the exhaust backpressure?.. might be a clogged converter..
Could also be a faulty MAF sensor, you can unplug it and try the pedal then and see how it reacts while using a default calculation.

Anyone remember the thread about cutting out the square above the fuel filter in the bed. you would take the bed bolts out, raise or remove the bed, mark it....cut it, sand or grind and paint the edges right? I am seriously considering doing this since I have already had to replace it once after getting a friend to tow me home like 10 miles.

That's about it right?...pretty "cut" and dry?....I think it would be really smart to do because you can sometimes get them to work again if you have access to the pump and wires without a garage setup. quick and easy disconnect check or replace and then bam you are driving again in like 15 minutes when you have the parts. I saw another fuel pump for my truck cheap so I grabbed it for just in case...I also have other friends/customers that have this truck or similar....in case I need the $100 back.
