Thumbs up Well had another anti freeze leak

Ran up two weeks ago and gave the truck a heck of a good run on our Coquihalla Hwy, was up at Kamloops to see some fifth wheels, they were in better shape compared to the rotten ones here on the coast, anyway bought a 99 Coachmen Catalina 22 foot and had to go back up to haul it back last weekend, so zipped up the hwy again, took my dad for a cruise and he drove for a bit, then I took over again, I think he hit 142 KMH anyway it did well, then we got to the fifth wheel, hooked up and zipped back, I managed to hit 149 for a top speed according to the GPS, anyway everything seemed to hold together, got her home shoehorned it into the driveway and called it a day.
Next day open hood, anti freeze everywhere, what a mess, could not see a cause, so checked oil and had to add a litre, then took her for a spin, got home and it is peeing out of the heater hose near the metal fitting that goes into the special fitting on the intake manifold, so turns out both heater hoses are real crappy, so replaced them both tonight, as it took a few days for the dealer to get the special one in, anyway new hoses and replace spark plugs at the same time.
So hopefully I can get my cap and rotor done next and things will be all good for holidays in about three weeks.
Anyway, here is a pic of new set up, Dad in passenger seat and salesman standing beside truck.
Just as we were going to leave the dealership in Kamloops.

That's a nice Coachmen Catalina and im glad that you got your truck fixed. Now im wondering what is 149 in MPH? Also that was cool for you to take your dad with you.
Be good! GMC

don't forget to check the short hose from the water pump to the intake while the coolant is drained, sometimes it is forgotten till it leaks!

Yes, had a good trip, dad turns 86 Tomorrow, as for the bypass hose, they at least replaced that one when they had to do the upper and lower intake manifolds, but they should not have missed this last one, it was bad for a while I would say.
Of course it has a piece of loom on it, so they may not have been able to see how soft it was, anyway all in all the truck has not been bad.
