Smile Cooling problems.

Remember I was saying that my 1993 F/S GMC truck was heating up after sitting at idle for a while in this TEXAS heat well I bought my severe duty clutch but I was waiting on this pump that im going to list below. I remember Leo saying or somebody that my power pulleys would slow down the flow of my water so im going to install the clutch and the high flow water pump that came in while I was out of town next is a Aluminum radiator that I mentioned before as well. And yes the temp did go up again in the expressway traffic of Houston when I came back.
Be safe! GMC

Get 30 percent extra coolant flow.

Flow Kooler water pumps solve low-speed heating problems by doubling the water flow rate at low rpm and idle. At 3,500 rpm, the flow rate returns to normal, to prevent too much water flow at high speeds. These pumps also last longer than a stock replacement. They use a specially designed steel plate on the impeller that traps water, eliminates cavitation, increases flow, and reduces engine temperatures.

Next is this below. Did I mention that I love my truck even if it's 16 years old.

160K miles on his truck and started dripping out of the weephole. bad thing was, the next week, his radiator started leaking. the connection on the tank where the oil line goes in started dripping.

Leo im going back with the clutch type I don't like having problems when im on a road trip that's the main reason I dropped the flex-fan they tend to crack since there so thin. And Brad 160K is a lot of miles on a pump.

Up-date OK guys my son placed the pump or was trying to put it on but there was a ear by the power steering pump that was hitting it so I cut it off the pump so my son placed the pump on it BUT now the pulley that goes on the studs on the pump to hold the pulley and fan clutch are a tad wider so we reamed the pulley out for it to fit now the center hole is the same size on the pump it's just those studs. So on Monday im going to my buddy's shop what im going to do with the fan clutch since I don't want to ream the holes out im just going to cut the holes straight out so it will be slotted so it will work I know the older clutches were like that before and they worked good. What do you guys think?
Thanks! GMC

PS-I even called Summit just to make sure that it was the right one because I bought it on Ebay and they said it's the right pump for your truck and I have always wanted a high flow pump on my truck. I hope you can figure what im trying to do or give me tips. Help? GMC
Flow Kooler 1773 - Flow Kooler Mechanical Water Pumps – SummitRacing.com Again this is the pump. And my pump turns slower because of my power pulleys im just wanting more flow and being in Texas it get super hot.

Proliance Ready-Aire 4849 - Proliance Ready-Aire Replacement Standard Thermal Fan Clutches – SummitRacing.com This is what im talking about how it will look after I cut/slot the holes for it to fit.

Hayden Automotive 2784 - Hayden Fan Clutches – SummitRacing.com So in other words my clutch looks like this you see the holes how there for a direct fit well im going to leave mine like the one above it should work like I wrote cars/trucks still use them like what I want to do. But I still want you input? Nothing can't ever just fit perfect or if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have no luck at all just kidding it's that im on a mission to get this pump to work since I bought it dirt cheap.

Come on guys I need some input. I'm going to Pick-A-Part in the morning and getting a new/used water pump pulley then drilling out new holes in the right area for the high volume pump I just don't care for the way my pulley is looking being reamed out so im going to leave the OEM holes where there at then like I said drilling the new holes in the perfect place the fit the different bolt pattern for the water pump studs. I would feel my comfortable having it like that so in all my water pump pulley will have 8 holes but I think there should be enough meat between the OEM holes so they won't start to crack. Guys again I really need input im leaving in the morning.
Thanks again! GMC

gregd is on a distinguished road
hey again Texas!
it doesn't sound like this should be a problem if the pulley and fan clutch line up with the center button. give 'er **** and hope for the best?
