help with installing a lift ring

I'm trying to figure out how to install a lift ring under the front spring of a 2000 GMC Sierra 2wd...

What's the easiest way to remove the spring from the swing arm?

Does anyone have any experience with this or maybe know of a website with instructions?

spring

their is no real easy way of removing front coil spring's .got to have a spring compressor,jack ,stands ,remove they wheel ,caliper , hang the caliper off to the side,remove shock separate the lower ball joint remove spring .clean the pocket's were the spacer goes ,reassemble . simple right !

If you have all the right tools it is!!! Ive done a few of these at work.... pretty easy there, in the driveway, not so easy

it come,s down to how many tool's and shop space to make it easy,i have done them both the hard and easy way as my tool's and shop expanded !
