Steering problem 2002 gmc 1500hd

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500HD 2WD. I have 87,000 miles. I have replaced the inner tierod ends and had aligned. Didnt seem right so had it realigned and had the cam kits and pins replaced on the upper A arms and then realigned. It is better but still pulls once in a while to the right. I have 305/50X20 Toyo tires. Have had them balanced and the air pressure checked. Rotated the tires to no avail. I have 2 year old monroe sensa trac shocks which seem a little bouncy for this truck. I have to really drive this truck to keep it on the road. Anybody have any ideas? I do not have a steering damper on it. Could it be bearings or brakes causing some of the problems. Brake pads have 75% of pad and rotors have very little edge to them. Do not seem warped but do get a little pulsing in pedal when braking at high speed. I also noticed a vibration that comes in around 41 mph and seems to go away at 49 mph. Help???

2 years and how many miles on those shocks? i`m not too familiar with the 2wd front ends, but i would think a stabilizer is pretty important, for the pulsation i would have your rotors turned to solve it. as for your driveline vibs i`d say remove your drivshaft from the vehicle and see if the u-joints are free and not dry.

Thanks. It has about 10,000 miles on shocks. But I am pretty sure I am going to put a little stronger shock on it. I will turn the rotors and see how that does. I checked the u-joints and they are good but that is not say the driveline is not out of balance. So I am going to get it balanced. Just a pain to feel the vibration. Thanks again.

What about radial tire pull? I never believed in such a thing until I got a set of tires that no matter what they did, it still pulled. I made them replace the tires and, wa-la.....problem solved.

lube the calipers when you turn the rotors, a brake drag will give you a light pull.

to check for radial pull over inflate the tires and test drive...don't leave them like that

Thanks for all the help. I have rotated the tires. Overinflated but still does the same. I am going to do the front brakes as it seems as if there is a slight pull when hitting the brakes. I was going to balance the driveshaft but the shop is closed for vacation until after labor day. Will post any changes or if this takes care of my problems. Thanks for all the replies.

I'm not sure if this applies to the 1500's, but my '99 C3500 has speed sensitive steering. If your 1500 also has that I wonder if a "glitch" in the system could cause it to pull?
