Pop and Locks for tailgates

Anyone use them on the 2007 and later Sierra 1500s? Any recommendations? Looking to lock the tailgate on a 2009 Sierra.

Thank you.

The GM lock kit is available all over Ebay and it will be keyed to the truck key once you install it and use your truck key to lock and unlock it. Much better than the aftermarket stuff.

I have this one on my truck because my tailgate handle is painted and it's protect super and it leaves my truck looking OEM.
McGard 76002 Bolt Style Tailgate Lock And I bought it at a local truck shop dirt cheap.

SummitRacing.com But look at some more.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will look into them. I'd prefer to keep it looking factory.

The install was very easy, too. After shopping around on the internet it was actually a couple of bucks cheaper to just go to the dealer and get it because everyone seemed to charge at least $12 for shipping.

Thank you for the suggestions, everyone. I knew you guys would have the answer.

Cool. It's nice you don't need another key to unlock! So did you want the lock to prevent tail gate theft or for a bed cover?

The part I went with is on the home page of this site. (scroll down a bit when you get there) It's on sale but actually cheaper at the local dealer after shipping is factored in.

http://www.gmpartscheaper.com/

I bought it to protect tailgate theft. Eventually, when I can afford it, I'll end up getting a cover for the bed and being able to lock things in there will be nice but for now I got it help protect the tailgate from being stolen. We had a car stolen out of our parking lot at work so anything is possible.
