Yeah, I was wondering about that too. It's one of the things I always liked about the "look" of those trucks.

Of course, finding replacement lenses and parts for them is a chore and a half, if you can find them at all...

To my knowledge LMC has them and EVERTHING else.

Plus doesn't it cause johnny law to mess with you for not having directionals?

I imagine he has that part figured out already. Otherwise, it's gonna be real hard to pass inspection with it.

Safety inspections? Most states have 'em. Not sure if Kansas does though.

Florida doesn't. Nebraska drop thiers over 10 years ago before I moved. Don't know if they reinstated

We don't have machine emissions tests either. Never heard of or seen a physicall "look and see" either.

I have a feeling he has other plans for turn signal and parking lights up front. I agree though, I think I would have left those lights. I always liked those about those trucks too. I always thought chains where pretty cool too. But I have a feeling hes going for the sleek shaved look on this truck. Back in the day when it was legal to ride in the back of a pick-up, I did not mind riding in the back or having my passengers ride in the back and leaning up against the tailgate if it had those chain type latches. That tailgate is NOT coming open while driving down the road, where I could not trust the latch type. I would never lean up against a tailgate in the back of pu if were latched in fear it would fall open.
