| That is without a doubt, just a 3500, NOT HD. HD had a taller body and looked a bit uglier in my opinion. Just cuz you're a nice guy, I found you a pic of a HD. See the grill, how the truck body is taller???

| Do you have a bigger photo? That's a little small for these tired old eyes to make out details. I think I see what you mean though. If you have a bigger copy of that shot I'll put it up against an identical shot of my truck so I can notice the details better.

| I suspect that the shop that added the utility back to it beefed up the rear suspension. The door sticker for the incomplete vehicle lists the GVWR as 10k, but the sticker that the company that finished the truck put on lists it as 15k.

| Oh yeah, I also found one absolutely positive way to tell a 3500 from a 3500HD... The 3500HD has an I beam front axle.

| Yep, you are also right about that. It has a straight front axle.
