Well...there are 2 little boxes screwed into the blower housing...The darker pic is under the glove box




And now the lights behind the dial for heat / ac are out too...

Good pix, thank you. Speed problem is there at blower "box" with like 9 wires.
"Ppl" below does not refer to Ppl to motor.

Pull the connecter off and confirm problem with meter.
First check wire side for voltage from pins to ground.
(One of the black wires is ground and the other n/c when unplugged.)
1 to 5 should give hots on Yel,Tan,LtBlu,Ppl,Org in order. Red is always hot.
This confirms switch not the problem (not likely)

Change meter to read resistance/ohms and check following "pairs"
on the little box connecter - not the wires themselves.
B(Yel) to A(Tan)
A(Tan) to D(LtBlu)
D(LtBlu) to C(Ppl)
This last is expected to fail - infinite or "open" meaning resistor is problem.
Think that's a 1-piece replacement including blower relay in same "little box"

MY COOKED RESISTOR!!!! WIRES LOOK GOOD, BOARD IS FRIED. New one comes with all seen here, just not burnt to a crisp.
