Question Spindle mounted speed sensor OR Hub mounted

How can you tell what style sensor mount a vehicle has? Do I need to pull the wheel, then what do I look for? Thanks

I finally got some pictures when I did my power steering repair. So which is this spindle mounted??? I am going with it being spindle.

i will go with spindle as well. hub are contained in the assembly and usually not seen. that design on yours would seem to have more flaws than ones inside the hub assembly section. or so it would seem.

This is why I asked all this to begin with cause:
Quote:
Hello,

The same kit fits both pickup and SUV models. The SUV models do require a rear sway bar link kit in addition to the main suspension kit. Some models do require exhaust modification, which is no big deal and easily addressed. If the vehicle is equipped with the ABS system you do need to identify which style you have. There is a spindle/steering knuckle mounted system and a hub mounted system. Our system doesn’t accommodate the spindle/steering knuckle mounted ABS system. It will work with the hub mounted ABS system only. The only way our kit can be used on the spindle/steering knuckle mounted ABS system is to convert to the hub mounted system, which also requires different CV axles. If you have any questions or need any further information please feel free to e-mail me back, or you can also give us a call toll free at (866) 469-7257.

Thank you for the inquiry.

that makes alot of sense. or you could do away with the ABS entirely and drive like people used to. common sense. if the brakes lock up, let out a bit to regain control of your vehicle.

Looks like some grease wouldn't hurt the suspension either

Is that a real posibility cause I would do it. I grew up driving without ABS. 1977 cordoba, 1986 Ponitac Trans Am, 1986 Oldsmobile Cutless Wagon
