Buy some from online...even smaller ones can work too, if you do a good mounting job, centered etc.

Still I think you're stuck replacing it as a package.

If you wanted to test this, I think you could watch
the voltage at the Ppl wire to blower come on then dissappear
while the hot at Red and hot at Org stay there constantly.
(Org would get hot when you select high. Red is batt from blower fuse.)
Yeah ill probably just replace it all..

GMC heat issue - Ninja Lawn Guy Posting 394

Hi Ninja Lawn Guy

The photo of the heat/a/c part you posted (394) is the part I need. It appears to be like a computer chip maybe 2"X3" in size. This part on my truck has obvious burnt areas and the heater control is not working properly. No heat - too much heat - inside vs outside air control is also acting up - won't switch but then does so on its own.

I would just like to know what the part is called and if you know where is the best place to order it??

Thanls

Welcome to the forum Paul Petry.

You may wish to open another thread for your truck.
If you do please be sure to say what truck you have:
yr-make-model-eng-htr or ac system. Trucks differ.

Another reason for doing that is your truck seems to have other problems.
It is too early to be sure, but I vaguely remember hearing
about a TSB regarding settings changing on their own.

I just wanted to add that if yours is on a slight angle with a mounting bracket, the replacement has 4 holes, 2 to make up for the mounting bracket you no longer will need..
