| 16x10 Wheels? Looking to get a set of 16x10 wheels for my 2500 HD but tire shop guy said it would destroy front end of truck. Any thoughts or comments would be great. Thanks |

| when one wants to play, then one should be ready to pay, the truck is designed for certain tires, if you want to change, then be prepared to upgrade other parts

| What size tire were you planning on mounting to those rims?

| I think you're going to have some clearance issues with that setup. And, as the tire guy said, it's going to put a strain on the front suspension and steering.

| You're still going to want to beef up the front end though, because that's a lot of unsprung weight there. Just stop and consider for a moment of what forces are involved just in steering those tires and you'll probably agree that it's going to be a strain on your tie rods, power steering, shocks, etc.

| I have 15x10 wheels on my truck and im running 31" tires I say never again these tires are more heavier then what I was running always I know that it's going to wear my front end faster but good thing there wearing fast oh there Pathfinders never get this brand tire you won't be happy with them. I rotate them and I keep them at the right air pressure I don't turn sharp/fast around corners and there still wearing well it's all even wear but but like I wrote there wearing fast like a pencil eraser. |
