Slow down a little when typing and make sure it says what you want.
Also leo is right, too many possibilities to not know what
the yr/make/model and type of AC you have (cables/knobs/digital/auto)

A picture may be helpful if you can do that, tho not a must have.

sorry,
truck is a 00 sierra slt 1500 with the knobs no digital controls

was thinking about replacing the indash control unit but would be stupid if it is something simple to fix.
not a problem i couldnt' live with(hot-cold) but if i can fix why not.

Want to be careful about disconnecting the air bag fuse and the bag connectors if going in there.
Get details from somebody who knows if you don't.
An intermitent could easily be caused by excessive tension on the harness
leading to poor connections.
One cheap test may be to set for the bad temp and then see if it changes
when wires are jostled.
