| sway bar can't seam to find one on the front of my truck , did all 1989 gmc 1/2 ton trucks have them . shd |

| Should have, there should be a bar that runs from side to side mounted just behind where your tow hooks are, that bar runs down to the lower control arms and is conected via sway bar links

| I do not know for sure about 89 models, but I know 73-87 models, it was an option in the upgraded suspension package so not all of them had it. Although its very easily added since the holes are already there to add it. Just get the brackets and bar from the junk yard, and buy new bushings from the auto parts store. IT will sure make a noticeable difference.
