| And, that little cam piece you're looking for may come with the new lock cylinder. Easy enough to check if you go to the parts store and ask to see one. If not, this kind of damage is pretty common in theft recoveries, so I'd bet that a good parts place would have it. Or any locksmith shop that deals with automotive locks.

| Thanks for the info guys! Im off to Partsource (Canadian version of Autozone, i guess) and then to the yard where the truck sits. I'll be taking the camera along with me. |

| Well, Good news! Turns out, (actually, its a good thing) The Ignition 'B' fuse was blown, I guess from the clowns hotwiring it. Thats why only the one side of that ignition box worked. So i put in a different fuse, and tried bridging the other side... Success! I was able to get everything else working (Including the windows!!!, radio, heater/ac/blower/wipers, etc) And I must say, these trucks came with nice sound systems. Another question, theres this brake line coming from this box... Not really sure what it is or what its for. My best guess is something for trailer brakes. Take a look, I circled the line and where its connected. Any Ideas? Last edited by coadster; 10-30-2009 at 08:32 PM. |

| Pic did not show up, but that is what it will be. It will be a trailer brake contoller. Forget how to spell the common name brand, Tenkosha or something like that.

| OK, now are you talking about a box connected inside the truck under the dash, or the box there on the fenderwell? The box there on the fender well is the comptuer to the ABS brakes.
