| Hi Guys, I am having problem with my Heater on a Yukon 2000 SUV, I have replaced the thermostat and flashed the Core, The core was clean and nothing in there. there is enough coolant in the cooling system, What else can it be? All this happened after i replaced the fuel pump, to replace the fuel pump i had to disconnect the battery, and i think it has something to do with that, but not sure what. I check all fuses and they all look ok as well Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Last edited by cyberma007; 11-02-2009 at 12:12 PM. |

| So you do not feel any heat coming out of the vents?

| but it still blows air?? look inside the engine bay and grab the heater hoses entering the firewall on the passenger side after the engine is up to operating temps. are both lines hot?? if yes, than your blend control accuator is not diverting the air through the heater core from the evaporator core. this could be a switch problem or a actuator problem and likely the problem being the latter of the two. |

| You beat me to it Brad. That is what I was going to suggest seeing as how you said it started after you disconnected the battery I thought it might be an electrical issue, that being only if you feel heat on both heater hoses.

| Yes They are both hot, Someone told me one a different forum to remove the HVAC fuses and start the car and let it recalibrate Actuaters for about 2 minutes without touching the controls and turn off the car and remove the key and put in the fuses again and try to see if it works. I am going to give it a try this afternoone and see how it goes, I hope that is the problem, sounds simple, I hate when stuff does not make sense. | i dont know about all that. seems to me that if a fuse was pulled, it can recalibrate anything because there is no power going to the unit. so with this in mind, how can it relearn with nothing there to relearn?? |

| Isnt there a door that diverges the engine heat into the cab between the cab and those hoses?
