| Intermittent heater noise I get noise when the heater is on. Lasts 2-3 seconds, and keeps doing it as long as blower is on. Only does it when blower is on. Might do it more at highway speeds. Maybe starts it warms up. If it was the blower or clutch I thought it would be more consistent? A belt would do it whether the heat is on or not? I know diagnosing noise over the internet is tough. But thanks for any help you can give. 2000 GMC Sierra 4x4 325ci 148k miles |

| Could be a bearing in the blower starting to "go", and making noise at certain RPM's or when the vehicle turns.

| It only last 2-3 seconds so hard to tell about RPM changes. But it does seem to get louder when increasing rpms. But letting off the gas doesn't do anything. I tried today to rev it in neutral, and it didn't make any noise. |
