2002 GMC Radio Problem

My radio has just recently been acting up. While driving, it will suddenly lose power for some reason and shut off. The clock resets to 1:00. I press the power button and it comes back on to the station I had it on last. Then no telling when, it will happen again for no reason. It's not related to bumps, turns, other things on in the truck. I checked the fuse and it's good.

I had to disengage my theftloc because everytime this happened, I had to put my code back in, and that become tiring.

Anyone have this problem?

My 2003 gmc radio pre amp shorted out my radio like that a few times..it got hot really quick and would just shut off, then it would pick some random channel to come back on. Could also be a battery deal as I found out recently...
