| I Want to Go Bigger on Tire Size I have a 2004 GMC 3500 SRW crew cab 4X4 with the 8.1L gas engine. It came stock with 265 75R/16 Load Range E Tires. I pull a trailer and spend about 40,000 miles a year on the road. I need new tires and would like to go to a 285, but I am having problems finding a load range E tire. Any ideas? Has anyone done this up-size before? Or should I stick with the 265 size? I really like the Bridgestone Dueler REVO, but at a 285, it only comes in Load Range D. |

| Go for it! What have you got to lose? Even if you rub a little bit on turns it's not gonna hurt it. I'm not sure what size a 285 is in inches, but I'd say you can run 33's easily, if not 35's with a lot of rubbage. Post up pix with what you go with! I havne't heard much bout Duellers...I know MT/R's are semi-street friendly tires...but they're also very costly...
