| lifting the front end on 05' GMC sierra 4by4 Hi everyone new to the site. Just wanted to know if anyone out there knows anything about lifting the front end of an 05' GMC sierra 4by4 . I live in the midwest and we occasionally get large amounts of snow and the front end sits so low that i could end up pushing snow and possibly causing damage to the lower front body parts. Some people have suggested a lift kit but seems a little extreme. Any suggestions Thanks Mike |

| lift kit. Thats what they are designed for. You can tweak your torsion bars and gain about an inch or so, but then you front end geometry is will be off. Dont use lift keys unless you want a really rough ride. Look into the lift kit that changes the upper A arm , it will keep the front end running true after the lift or get a kit that drops the lower A arm. Good luck
