| Stalling I got a 86' GMC pickup shortbox 4*4, i just put a new 350 into it and changed the transmission filter and keep it filled reguarlly and filled torque converter with oil before put in. It now has 1200miles on the motor and when it starts up it sits and idle fine but when u put into gear it stalls immeditally. If u drop it in first while hammering th egas it willl move hwenu hammer it agian but soons u slow down it stops. When you do get it moving it hessitates bad to drop a gear and when you let off the gas it sorta jolts the truck from the tranny ,,, would you say its pretty much shot, or the torque converter needs adjusted? theres 125k on tranny and i belive its been rebuilt once. |

| Yip, I have seen this before, To avoid a lengthy discussion, It is time for a transmission shop for a rebuild
