I have 31 x 10.5 x15 tires mounted on 10" wide custom wheels. I am wanting to convert my brake system over to 4 wheel disc brakes. I currently have front disc and rear drum brakes. Also I am having trouble with front rotor warpage. Help!!. Do any of you have any suggestions for the conversion and the warpage problems Thanks |

| Welcome To The Forum. Do U Keep Buying New Rotors And If So Are U Getting The Cheapest U Can Find? This May Be A Mistake, Another Problem Is The Rear Drums May Not Be Adjusted Correctly So That They Are Not Doing Their Part Of The Braking Thus Over Loading The Front Brakes. If U Are Looking To Do A Convertion To 4 W Disc Look For A Kit That Has The Master Cylender, Poportioning Vavle And All The Hardwear Necessary To Do The Convertion And Most Important Of All The Instrutions On How To Install And Adjust The Rear Discs Properly, I Am Assuming That Ther Will Be A Parking Brake That Is Apart Of The Rear Discs. This Means That It Is Very Important That It Is Adjusted Or The Same Thing Will Keep Happening To The Front Discs. If U Have More Questions About The Convertion Dont Be Afraid To Ask, I Have Done A Few Convertions For Friends With No Complaints Yet, Ford And Chevy.

| If you want to keep the factory brakes there is a bulliten which addresses your concern of premature brake wear of front pads. The bulliten has you change to a new design pads and rear shoes and also replace the brake proportioning valve which puts more braking effort on the rear brakes. This repair has worked on stock vehicles that I have done it on with customers which tow alot. |
