06 2500HD crew

Am looking into the 06 GMC crew 4x4 2500HD Being honest have not been a huge fan of GM but I don't care for the Superduty and like the 6.0 GM, currenlty own a 97 F-150 that has been a great truck with 160K on the odo it looks and drives new, I just need more truck for towing my boat and would like a real plow! I have brand new 285/75/16 tires that are sitting in my garage that I was going to drop on the 16x10 Al wheels for the 150 but if the 285's will fit the GMC crew I will sell the wheels and keep the tires if they won't fit I may reconsider the Superduty as I know they will fit that truck, unless of course someone want the tires too.

Dude dont let just having a set of tires on hand dictate what truck you buy. Tires are cheap compared to the investment of a newer truck. Get what you want, not just whatever an old set of tires fit on... Thats like buying a gas motor instead of a the diesel you really want just because you have 20 gallons of unleaded setting around.
