| model year From the plates on the glove box door. In the case of the tractor, it is the only plate on the vehicle. the truck does have another small stainless steel plate spot welded to the upper door frame that has these characters stamped: V4006 P C 6394E The aluminum plates have all the pertainent data: axle type and ratios, trans type, motor, spring leaves, wheel type, cab #, and ser # and they are secured by the original rivets. thanx. | I puchased these trucks at an estate sale with a bill of sale. The dump truck was listed as a '65 and the coe as a '60. The dump probably is a '65 but the coe can't be a '60 because it has the 478 which did not come out until 1963! So what is it? |
