| how wide of tire can i go on my 93' 2wd fullsize? i have 235/75/15 on the truck right now...and i just cant find a nice tire that makes the truck look overall better. so i want to get wider tires and maybe a step lower profile...so what do you guys think? 245 - 255 - or even 265 / 75 or 70/ 15...i want the widest tire that will possibly fit without rubbing in the front. and i want all the tires to be the same size... tell me what you guys think there is a 2 inch drop on the back right now just to level it out a bit and in a couple months in gonna do a 4/6... | i dont know what will fit under there, maybe someone else has an idea but i do not believe that you are going to be satisfied if all you do is go to a 265/75 or to a 70. there just isnt a significant differance |

| i have 285's on my 4x4 1500 that rubbed in the front before minor modifications... 265's would fit no rub but im not sure with your 2 inch drop. if you plan on lowering it any more, you may not even be able to go up too far in size from the tires you have now. If you got the steel wheels, they are 6.5 inches, the newer wheels are 7.5, i beleive, so i dont think you'd be able to get much wider than a 75.

| ...so to sum up my opinion, dont put tires on until you drop it as far as you want because you may not be able to fit much bigger tires under there when all said and done.

| I see your icon is a 1/2 ton 2wd. I think 31x10.5-15s would be fine if you are looking for off raod look but wider rims are suggested. If going with street appeal then I wouldnt go over the 255/60-15 with narrow wheels.
