 | 2001 GMC 2500 Cruise Control Problem Hello Guys, I have a 01 GMC 2500 with 68,000 on it. The cruise control has taken a rest. When I try to engage it, the cruise light comes on in the dash but goes off when the button is released. I was going to just replace the control box ( left side of firewall ) but thought maybe someone has gone through this before and it could be something else, (don't want to waste the money). I checked the fuse and they are both good. Any help is welcomed. Thanks, Jim |

 | i'd check the brake switch.
