 | Distributor/or Ecm I have a 91 5.7 tbi 2wd. it has symptoms I've read here regarding the distributor bushing having too much play. (dies in idle, runs fine on road, power brake at red light) I've already had to replace ignition module on distributor and I checked timing at 0 with ESC connector disconnected in bypass mode. what am I bypassing?? the reason I ask is that truck idles fine in bypass mode, but dies when reconnecting ESC. I replace the ECM but not the chip and was wondering just what else to look at. |
