Angry Squeaking Noise When I Drive

Hey when I drive there is a loud squeaking noise that comes from my 96 Sierra. It sounds kind of like I am breaking but it only cuts out when I do break and there is no noise when I am stopped. Any ideas on what it is and how much it will cost to get it fixed?

Sounds like your front brake pad sensors are starting to hit the rotor.

go buy yourself new brake pads. they range anywhere from $15 and up. but remember this. you get what you pay for with brakes. how much are brakes worth to you when you are doing 70 and that old bitty pulls out in front of you??
