| anybody know if it would be possible to convert the headlights on my 97 over to the old sealed beam units. these plastic things just don't cut it. i work third shift so i'm in the dark 80 percent of the time and i like to see stuff before i hit it. when i bought the truck you couldn't see the road at night, so i upgraded to the bright white bulb. they help some but they just can't get through the old hazy plastic and i don't want to keep replacing the plastic every couple of years. the glass models in the magazines are very expensive, so i figured i'd try to go old school. |

| They made a sealed beam fornt grill and core support for them ,They came out on base price trucks, I did it on my 97 Z71 after the fendr bender and it worked out great. Easy and cheap to replace, plus the parts are easy to come by because most people want to upgrade to the plastic ones.
