 | 03 1500 HD in 4-Lo when started Occasionally yy GMC '03 1500 HD is in 4-Lo when I start it. I then swith it back (as soon as I notice). Then in a few days wehn I start it-it does i t again. Any ideas? |

 | if it is in 4 low when you drive it you wouldn't get very far before you noticed, the truck would have way more torque at take off. it is probably a bad sensor or switch if you can drive normally and not notice a diiference.

| i think you have a bad switch, or transfer case motor. i assume it is a push button 4wd?
