| fuel injection problems I, need some help. I have a 5.7L 350 in my 97 gmc sierra. I had it at the dealership because it was starting to miss. they told me that it needed to have the valves that connect to the fuel injectors that allows the fuel to pass through replaced. not only did they need to have it replaced they don't make the kind of valve thats in it now anymore, they know use electric valves. he told me that in california gm had to replace these because of emissions. theres no recall on this. my question is, has anyone experienced this and if so did gm replace them at no cost, or is there someother thing i can do to replace these, is there some fuel injection kit i can buy, say off of summit racing. i'm trying to avoid a $700 dollar replacement cost. thanks. |

| Fuel injection kits are well over $700 for a good one. As for the emmission stuff. No your are paying it. Its not a recall.
