| Newbie needing help Hey i was wondering if anyone could answer some questions i have about my truck. I have a 1997 GMC sierra with a 3 inch body lift and 33'' tires. i want to buy new torsion keys to lift my truck another 2'' to 3'' so i can fit 35's under it. i was looking around at various sites and all of the aftermarket torsion bars looked like my stock ones is there a difference? instead of buying new torsion keys could i just adjust the ones that i have on there now? Is there any down sides of using torsion lifts? one last question if i do buy new torsion keys and put those on there and they give me the 3'' that im looking for will my truck ride considerably more rough? if anyone could help me out on some of these questions i would be greatful. Thanks, Ross |

| torsion keys are a poor way to lift a truck. if it was me i would sell the old tires and body lift and get me a 6 inch suspension lift, but thats just me.

| messing with the torsions keys can really screw up the ride of a truck... i agree with mudseeker, if u can aford to trash the body lift and get a suspension lift it will be WELL worth the price
