Question Exhaust Question for 06' 6.0L Sierra HD

I recently bought a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 RC LB with the Vortec 6.0L . I would like some different opinions and thoughts of great sounding and performance exhaust systems for a 6.0L . I'm leaning towards Corsa. From what ive heard about the Corsa, it really boosts HP alot more so than a chip. The system also sounds great on the 6.0L . Check it out here www.Corsaperformance.com. Here, there is numerous different sound clips for numerous different vehicles. What are you all running on your 6.0L? Thanks for the help.

Flowmaster 3" with stock manifolds on one truck, and an Ultra-flo with headers on another, also 3". Both full tailpipes exiting the stock location. Ultra-flo has a deeper tone, and not as loud, flowmaster, louder, and has more resonance.

You can go with any exhaust that sounds good to you but don't believe all that horse power stuff. The factory is trying to maximize horse power and fuel economy to the max already. I know the exhaust systems talk about 10-25 hp and chips are 10-25hp and cold air intakes are 10-25hp and throttlebody spacres 10-25hp and high flow mass air flow sensors are 10-25 hp so if you believe all that i just added 50-125hp just by adding that stuff to your vehicle yeh right!!! I have added cold air intake, programmer, exhaust, and it sounds better but no real feel for hp or mileage since they all say they add up to 10 percent in mileage. Just my 2 cents.

Very well said gmtech. I forgot to mention that both trucks sound really cool, but they really do not go any faster, nor do they get better mileage.........
