| Driveshaft for 2000 Sonoma As I was driving home from work last wensday my truck rattled as though it was unbalanced. At first I thought it would most likely be a wheel weight or something of that sort. The truck wobbles right after you take off from a stop and the wobble goes away. Then it starts to squeek and squeeal a little bit. Once you hit 55 it has a humm/howl sound to it. Upon closer examination It appears as though a weight came off the drive shaft, and that the center yoke on the driveshaft is squeeking a bit. I got a used driveshaft from the junk yard and plan to put it in this week sometime. Is there anything special I need to know about putting a drive shaft in or anything else I should check before going at it? All the joints in the driveshaft look and feel fine. It is a 2000 GMC Sonoma Extended cab short box 2.2L truck. Any comments or sugestions would be great. Thank you all in advance. |

| Alright I got all the parts I needed. I didn't need to exchange the drive shaft itself, but I replaced all the U Joints (3) in my drive shaft and I also replaced the Hanger Bearing. I still get vibrations any ideas? |
