o2 sensor

how much do these cost? the code it throwed was O2 sensor heater ground. Is this one of the sensor or is this a wire burned up on one of them. what is the easiest way to find out which one is out? i have a 2001 gmc 1/2 z71.

They'll go anywhere from $20.00-$70.00 each depending on the year. The truck can also have anywhere from 1-4 O2 sensors. If you have more than 1 I would check for the obvious. I really can't tell you how test them. If I'm not mistaken, I think trucks with more than 1 O2 sensors the code will either say "left bank" or "right bank". Not sure though.

Just replace all of them, since they are all the same age, they most likely need it.
