Mass Air flow Sensor

What do you use to clean the Max Air flow sensor.Thanks for any reply

i know it might be a little late but would probably not suggest using that. it leaves a slight oily residue that i would think could attract more dirt over time. brake parts cleaner dries dry, dries dry, can i say that?? but that is jsut a thought.

i always just use brake parts cleaner after i use something else to actually do the cleaning, the brake cleaner will take off the residue from the cleaner

Not to dis the thread, but are you talking about the MAF, mass air flow sensor? It's the honeycomb filter screen with wire sensors which straightens air flow into the throttle body.

actually he did correct it in his 2nd post in the thread.... i say max all the time when i'm talkin bout it. i guess max is just a more common word than maf so it slips out
