| CD player I'm putting a cd player in my 89 sierra and I was curious will it hook up right to the tape player wires? Has anyone else done this before? I dont want to spend 100+ on a cd player and it not work correctly. Any help would be appreciated |

| most places sell an adapter next to the head units on the selves. only a couple of bucks and saves alot of headache. i'm always adding electronics to my truck and the adapter saves me time when i need to pull the dash apart.

| I-Pod. Never skips, never scratches, never have to worry about a disc falling out when you open the door trying to get out of the truck after you stuck it to the frame! I f the stuck doesn't get you, a dropped Cd will. I-Pod, that's the way to go. No more CD's or tapes in the truck. |

| I got one for really cheap and then bought all the little replacements to make the front dash look presentable and I like 75's idea about the Ipod hookup thats what I have and Ill never go back so definately get one that is compatible with it (i messed up though buy one that charges the ipod or mps player while it is on) and yes everything will fit

| I bought one last night, its a sony xplod, mp3 player plug in and detachable faceplate, looks nice. I think I'm going to have to buy the frame that it fits in because its not looking like its going to fit the way it is now |

| Mine used to do the same thing. For me the radio station that i selected was causing interference with the signal sent from the ipod. I had to find a station that did not get any signal, then it sounded just fine. |
