200k mile club

you got me beat by about 4k.

ive just turned 210,000 on my 97 chevy 1500. and still going. for now

went to lube my slip yoke yesterday due to the infamous "clunk" and decided to replace the output shaft seal since i had it on the hoist. i pulled the yoke out and no fluid came out, hmmmmm. pulled the seal and still no fluid, hmmmmm. decided to pull the plug and inspect the fluid, uhoh, less than a quart of fluid and back as could be. took it for a test drive after i buttoned everything up and it squealed like a power steering pump was going out. it scared the heck out of me, but the noise went away once i got out of town. if i can find the time i would like to crack the case and check the bearings for heat problems.

you know, I did not realize it until this afternoon when I was getting some work done on it, but I can ligitamately be a member of this club... unless it is 100% restricted to trucks with over 200k.... My Subie is rockin' 209k and she is still kicking like a beaut!

bought my 89 ranger 2 years ago with just over 220k... shes got 270+ right now and after a motor flush a few weeks ago shes running better than ever... since i bought her shes been from maine to tennessee and back, maine to ny and back, and routinely goes all over new england with zero issues. not bad for a $200 truck!

Right around 209K for me.

92 z71 232k miles just put factory rebuilt motor in about 1000 miles on new motor

iv got a 95 gmc suburban with a 6.5turbo diesel that jst hit 200k and jst done the minor upkeep on it but the tranny is jst now starten to go out

I've got a 86 F-150 and the title says over a million miles but reality is only 300k. I'm working on a new 351w to replace the old tired one in it and other repairs as well.

rebuild tranny, rear end, pass. hub, rebuild rad., fuel injectors
