Lot of frendly folks here I can say that i suport our troops i serverd in Iraq from June of 04 to Nov of 05 our Battlion deployed with the 42Id out of NJ an myself an 11 others where stationed at forward operating base Summerall Our home is in MO at the time it was the 735th Missle batalion now it the 1475th MPs i served for 9 years an choose family over another tour ,posably to Iraq or Afganistan. my sons needed me more ,An yes i still miss the Army an my Mo,s 63,w /H8 i will always maintain the wheel .so for my brothers an sisters stay safe stay ,alive. SPC TESI.says good night .

I stand behind our country for what we stand as a nation. I do not like the fact that we pick from two parties for president and two parties run the government. I think that is why we end up being so negative about politics - not much to choose from.

But as a previous trooper now veteran, Army SF, Airborne Ranger, got out as a Captain, went to Granada, **** yeah I support our troops.

i support our troops, i support our nation, and i support our president. my hometown is next to one of the biggest military basses in the world and home of the army rangers and 3rd infantry brigade. we see the bad side of the war here EVERYDAY but talking to the soldiers, they're proud of what they do and are glad they are over there taking care of business. its not like they're happy that they put their lives on the line 24/7 over there. but they understand their mission and that certain things have to be done.

and even though i may not always agree with b ush's decisions. there is one thing i definately like about him. he is one of the only presidents that always makes the decision he feels is best and sticks by it. he doenst flip flop. and sometimes a decisive bad decision is better flip flopping between wright and wrong.

by the way, my cousin serves for the 10th mtn division. doing recon type work, so its not like i'm just assuming all my views, it touches close to home for me too

USA needs to support our guys more now than ever. May God protect them.

I agree with you GMC I would love to see and end to this war too, and not a pull back of troops, but a final resolution to this problem.

All we hear about is what the news wants us to know my dad says that at the VA hospital it's totally different now before it was more old men there, now it's the other way around. He said it's sad seeing young men with only one leg/arm and so on. I hope this next president can bring an end to this war.

Brother in law is in Army reserves this is going to be his forth time he's going to Iraq, the last time when he came back to visit he prepared everything in case he didn't make it back alive, were not happy that he's going again but on the other hand we can't let people like Hussein take over a country and torture innocent people and so on, I wish this war was all over already and that all our brothers/sisters were home. I know Hussein is dead but there is still a lot of bad people over there yet I wonder will it ever end? GOD protect our brothers/sisters and the innocent over there.
