 | Hey, Chevy Girl from NC Here Hey, the name is Kayla. I own a 1988 K5 Blazer Silverado that I've had for 3 years now. I haven't done much modding to her, just a couple additions here and there. In December of 08 I blew the rear end out so I had to replace that. That was the biggest project that I underwent. And I upgraded from 2.73 gears to 3.42 while I was at it. Its obviously a chick's truck, and sticks out in a crowd. The Truck's name is "Dirty Girl", because she is always covered in mud and dirt. Even if I wash her the next time I take her on the road I get out and she's got mud on her again!!! I wouldn't have gone anywhere near dirt! |

| Nice Ride. I like Dirty Girl !!! Great gear choice from the 2.73 to 3.42. So you changed gears in both front and rear obviously. Did you address the speedo issues yet? As in changing the speedo gear for an accurate speedo?

| Uh yeah, the Pink accents obviously say its a Chick Truck !!! So do you do your own work on the truck, including the painting?

| Alright, I'm going to answer in order of the posts... @ bradrhale - Yes I did the cab lights myself and don't tempt me into going to Texas... lol @ stumpuller454 - I actually got in trouble for having my truck that dirty. The Military Police yelled at me  @ hotrodpc - no... its still like... 15 over. Its gets me all the time cause I think I'm uber speeding when I pass a cop. And yes I do all the work including the painting. @ 64shortbed - Thanks, she's been nameless for the longest time and that just popped into my head and fit like a glove! @72'CaminoKid - No way, seems everyone has some family near NC. |
