| Good Evening Folks. Hello my fellow peoples. My name is Matt and I am 17 years old, turning 18 in November. I live in the wonderful state of Alaska and in the beautiful city of Anchorage. I don't own a truck but I am in the market for one and joined this forum to find some advice when I find a potential truck. I've been looking to buy a truck for over a year and on three occasions a truck has been bought out from under me. It sucks big time but I shall not give up. I've expanded my search into the Portland and Seattle area, figure I could drive it back up if I find one. Heard its a nice drive in the summer on the Al-Can highway. ![]() I like that emoticon... Forgot to add that I love Chevrolet/GMC trucks! My dream is to own a SS Silverado and a diesel. But for now, I'm looking for a Chevy/GMC 1500 4x4 with a 4.8L V8 or V6 if its a single cab. Or a nice Toyota Tacoma. Last edited by VoodooGypsy; 08-05-2009 at 11:01 PM. |

| Hey Matt! Welcome! My g/f says to tell you that driving the Al-Can is a lot of fun... her grandfather helped build it.

| hey there, go online and find the canada auto trader, lots of trucks in there, they would be alot closer than portland or seattle, less fuel cost to ship them.
