You have never heard the reason GM put the hooks in the front is so when the FORD is towing you it won't mess up the bumper. Sadly I have heard a lot of them still love me Chevys.

agreed, your service is much appreciated. im from a military family (dad's Army National Guard, served 1 tour in Iraq, took shrapnel in a bombing in Camp Marez) my brothers are both Navy boys, the youngest is on his way to BUDS to become a SEAL. I told him if he rings the bell, I'd wring his neck. I was a Navy boy before my vision went down the tubes and they said I wasn't fit for service and now i work for the Navy as a civilian.

My closest Army base to me is Ft Sill in Lawton, OK about an hour Southwest of here. But Tinker Air Force Base is 10 minutes away. There is a member here who has a son stationed at Ft. Sill too.
