Welcome !!!, uhhhhhh Ohhhh great, another Texan !!! Who recruits all you guys ??? Truck forum must advertise in the Daily Texan Times or something.

Nice truck and pics. I like the first one of the tower under construction. I used to do that kind of work in Los Angeles and Orange County. Seems kinda dumb to notice things like that, especially behind an awesome truck, but I guess buildings, once you work on them as long as I did, become a facsination too. I never say I built, because it take a mega bunch of people to build a building like those. But it is cool to look back on the buildings I have worked on before. Just to name a few, The newer LA county Jail, the tallest building in LA at that time, Library Square, Boneventure Hotel, LAX at Mayor Tom Bradley Terminal, John Wayne Airport, Fox Plaza in Century City which is AKA Nacatomi Plaza in the movie Die Hard with Bruce. In fact in that movie, when they are on the floors under consruction, and he runs by the plan table and all the metal studs, that was my plan table and I was the guy that put most of those studs up. We had to leave that job for sometime for them to film the movie. Also worked on the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda. Many others too like Embassy Suits and Marriotts, Kaiser Hospital, Hollywood Presby Hospital. Hard work, but it sure nice to go into those buildings today and see what became of them. Enough boring you with that IwasLowr, again nice pics and trucks. Welcome to the forum.

Yes we are were even in Iraq I know I posted it already but it felt right to post it again.
GMC

An Iraqi force was stationed in the middle of the desert going through the motions of their daily activity when one of the leaders heard off in the distance and over a dune,

"One Texan is better than 10 Iraqi Soldiers"

This noticeably aggravated the leader and he sent ten of his soldiers over the dune to deal with it. Gunfire sounded and a couple of minutes later,

"One Texan is better than 100 Iraqi soldiers"

Pissed off now, the leader gathered up 100 soldiers and sent them over the dune. Gunfire ensued and cannons erupted, then, just a few minutes later,

"One Texan is better than 1,000 Iraqi soldiers"

Completely enraged, the leader gathered up 1,000 of his soldiers and sent them over the dune to deal with the annoyance. Guns blazed, cannons erupted, and rockets blazed, just a short while later an Iraqi soldier comes crawling back to the leader, and with his dying breath he says,

"Sir, don't send any more soldiers to their deaths, it's a trap...there are two of them."
