| Truck Died While driving home the motor in my B2600i decided to die on me. No warnings or anything. Right after it died I believe all the idiot lights came on including the HOLD light. I thought it was odd the HOLD light coming on. Once stopped I tried to start it and it seemed like it would try to run for a second but no. Haven't been able to work on it yet but the first thing I'm going to check are fuel delivery and ignition spark. Computer was repaired by AVproecm back in 2004 so hopefully it is ok. Any suggestions before I get started on it? |

| check to see if your fuel reset button has been hit. i had a 96 ford ranger and it just died and i had to look for it and that was my problem. it was on the passanger side behind the kick panel by the pass. feet.

| You said all the lights cam on and it just died, could it be electrical? I mean Alternator could have quit. On the subject of fuel delivery though, if you still have power to turn the moror but no fuel, those fuel pumps tend to just quit with no warning signs either. When a truck stalls out, be it with or with out signs of doing so, all the warning lights do come on. So I think fixing the initial problem with eliminate that one..... So my suggestion is check fuel pump and alturnator

| Ignition coil failed. No spark. I replaced the original coil with a new one from O'Reily back in 11/06 thinking the original had problems. Once the old coil was installed the motor started instantly. |
