Question Tire Size???? Will these fit B-3000? 2x4

I have a 1995 Mazda B-3000 2-wheel drive...and it has the whimpy 14" wheels and 225x70x14s...basically city slicks...I have the opportunity to get some 31x10.5x15s....will these fit? I have measured the radius and I have basically 19+ inches to the center of the hub to the top of the wheel well in the back and 17 inches in the front... so it would seem that 31" tires would fit okay...The impetus for wanting bigger tires is for hunting and general off roading not climbing or serious off road fun...just light off road...my city slicks are shreded after one season...2 flats and and one wasted tire...I need "real" off road tires...???? 15x7.5 or 18x8 wheels..what is the difference between the wheel size? why one over the other?

are you buying them off somebody or buying them new? if you are buying them off somebody ask them if you can test fit one. what you do it put it on the front and put it on the ground and look at it then turn the wheel lock to lock checking for clearance to make sure that it doens't touch the inner finder and wheel well and your bumper. some stores will also do this for you too and they can it all depends if they want to make a sale with you or not.

I have 29's(235/75R15's) on my stock 1990 B2200. Stock is 205/17R14, same as you I got tired of not being able to follow my friends in their 4x4's on some of the logging roads.

Going to a bigger wheel & tire, your ODO is going to be out. Here is a neat calculator that will tell you by how much.

You only need a 3inch lift to fit 33's

And a 2wd Dodge Dakota needs no lift to clear 31' 10-50's, with no rub. Dodge is just better built.

lol funny storys about dodge and fords. when i had my bronco i saw this girl and her dad stuck in a snow back at the elementry school by my house. i stopped by and pulled her out so she could drive home and asked what had happened. her dad let her drive and told her to go over the snow bank. it was small so he though nothing of it when she was going like 5 mph and sunk down in it. so i pulled her out and the dad got in the driver seat all pissed off. started it up and put it in drive. puffffffff there goes the transfer case. i laughed at him for being so ignorant to me and pulled him back to his house. i could hear him screming at the girl as i was pulling him home. well when we got to his house she jumped in my truck and said just go. so i did. she was cute and of age so one thing led to another and now where married with 2 kids and her dad still hates me for pulling his dodge out of the snow lol
