Spark plug question

Hello!

I am looking in changing my spark plugs. Can someone tell me what brand to put because I thought it would be motorcraft since it is a ford engine but I could see that a lot of people put the NGK TR55. Which is better???

i see alot of these people with platinum plugs. they swear by it. to me, if i have a truck that gets me from point a to point b without hotrodding or showboating, i just want a plug that will burn gas. when i still had the ranchero, i used better plugs that costs more. i have had luck with autolite in the past.

It depends on the year of your Mazda. If it is 1993.5 or newer, then it is a Ford engine, if it is 1985 to 1993 then it is a Mazda Engine.

My 1990 B2200 has Bosche Platinum plugs(almost 100,000 kilometers ago), and they're still going strong. My Ford F150 300i6 has Bosche Platinum plugs (25,000 kilometers ago), and they're still going strong.

Some parts that is the case. Spark plugs, you have to make sure the gap is correct. This is something that Ford doesn't have 100% control over.
My Ford runs just fine with non-Motorcrapt parts. My Alt. is Bosche, my plugs, are Bosche, my Starter(s) all 5 of them; (4)were Motocrapt, the one that has lasted the longest was a chinese import. I prefer Bosche for their reliability.
